If you are looking for a matrix of GPA and test score that tells you what your scholarship will be, you won’t find it here at Hiram College. Just as with your entire experience at Hiram you are treated as an individual.

We look at your whole student experience when creating a merit and need based financial aid package for you.

Generally, students that have a documented record of strong academic achievement will be awarded accordingly.

We also consider a variety of factors that suggest a student will be a good match for Hiram and recognize those.

If your credentials earned you admission to Hiram College, you should feel confident that you will receive a significant merit and service award.

Additional need-based assistance is available for families that qualify.

We have a practice of offering our very best financial package from the outset, so you can feel good about what you receive. Everyone is treated fairly.
How to Apply for Scholarships and Financial Aid

In most cases all that is required to receive a merit-based award is to apply and be offered admission to Hiram College.

If you are admitted for Fall 2008 by January 4th, you should expect to receive a letter with an estimate of your merit-based financial package by February 1, 2008.

Complete financial packages are available in the spring after families file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

You may file the FAFSA for Fall 2008 now. We recommend that you complete your FAFSA by February 15, 2008.

If you successfully submit your FAFSA by February 15, 2008 you should expect to receive a financial package sometime in early March.

Hiram’s FAFSA code is 003049. You’ll need this to complete the FAFSA online.
Tuition and Finances: Planning Information

Hiram College offers our distinctive Tuition Guarantee. The college generally sets the tuition and fees for the next entering class by February 1st.
